To adjust the questions, do the following:
1. Press the Menu Icon on the Start Page
2. You can adjust the No. Of Questions by moving the No. Of Questions bar.

To make the test from 1x1 to 12x12, press the 0-12 button
Here is a simple guide to adjusting the QG manually:
First, press the menu icon. Then you will see in the bottom right some bars and numbers. You will see No. Of Questions and some other stuff below it. Those variables below adjust the AQGS (Automated Question Generating System). They are very self-explanitory. The "Min. For Starting Digit" is the minimum for the starting digit. "The Max for Starting Digit" is the maximum number that will be generated for the ending digit. Here is a small diagram:
